    The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is planning a project to improve the intersection of Route 36 (Woodbury Pike) and Route 2004 (Cross Cove Road) and township road T-608 (Cross Cove Road) in Taylor Township, Blair County. The project will include reconfiguration and reconstruction of the intersection to improve the safety and movement of vehicles through the intersection.

    Project Timeline

    • Alternatives Analysis completed and meet with Stakeholders in Spring 2026 (Complete)
    • Meeting with Public in Late Spring or Summer 2026 (Complete - held May 26, 2026) 
    • Engineering of selected improvement to be completed late 2029
    • Construction to begin early 2030
    • Construction completed up to approximately 2 years after beginning 

    Project Alternatives

     
    PennDOT is currently exploring  three (3) Alternatives for the  Woodbury Pike and Cross Cove Road (Route 36, Route 2004 and T-608) Intersection Improvement Project:
    • Alternative 1 - Signalized
    • Alternative 2 - Roundabout
    • Alternative 3 - Restricted Cross U-Turn (RCUT)
