    TSMO Regions

    TSMO regions are based on areas covered by the four Regional Traffic Management Centers (RTMCs) and have been designated as Western, Central, Eastern, and Southeastern. Click on a TSMO Region on the map to access links to each region's:

    • Regional Operations Plans (ROPs) - regional planning documents that identify existing TSMO infrastructure, needs, visions, and goals.
    • ITS Architectures - a set of high-level views that enable plans to be made for integrating ITS applications and services and provide a common framework for interoperability.

    TSMO Central Region

    The Transportation Systems Management & Operations Central Region is comprised of the current North Central, District 2, and Southern Alleghenies Regions. Its counties are Bedford, Blair, Bradford, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clearfield, Clinton, Columbia, Elk, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lycoming, McKean, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Snyder, Somerset, Sullivan, Tioga, and Union.

    TSMO Eastern Region

    The Transportation Systems Management & Operations Eastern Region is comprised of the current Northeastern, District 5, and South Central Regions. Its counties are Adams, Berks, Carbon, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Northampton, Perry, Pike, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wayne, Wyoming, and York.

    TSMO Western Region

    The Transportation Systems Management & Operations Western Region is comprised of the current Northwest and Southwestern Regions and Jefferson County. Its counties are Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Warren, Washington, and Westmoreland.

    TSMO Southeastern Region

    The Transportation Systems Management & Operations Southeastern Region is comprised of the current DVRPC/District 6 Region. Its counties are Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia.
