The first bridge (56689) is located on Route 2005 (Elliots Run Road) over Elliots Run near the intersection with Route 2002 (Cherry Grove Church Road). Improvements will consist of the replacement of the existing metal plate pipe arch structure carrying Elliots Run Road (SR 2005) over Elliots Run with a new precast reinforced concrete box culvert. Proposed guide rail will be installed on the upstream and downstream sections of the new culvert. Each string of guide rail will terminate with a permanent impact attenuating device or a terminal section at a length where guide rail is no longer warranted. Approach roadway work will consist of 63’ on the near approach and 168’ on the far approach. Traffic will be maintained during construction via a 6.4-mile detour.

The second bridge (88152) is located on Route 2005 (Elliots Run Road) over Elliots Run, approximately 1,200 feet north of the intersection with Owl Hollow Road. Approach roadway work will consist of 191’ on the near approach and 285’ on the far approach. Traffic will be maintained during construction via a 10.6-mile detour.
