The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a virtual plans display regarding the Route 690, Brook Street over Roaring Brook Bridge project, Lackawanna County. The project is located in Moscow Borough, Lackawanna County, and consists of the replacement of the existing superstructure just east of Lincoln Street. The existing superstructure will be removed and replaced with composite prestressed concrete adjacent beams. The project also included substructure rehabilitation, pavement overlays, and guiderail upgrades.
Additional Project Information
A detour of Route 690 (Brook Street) will be required to perform the proposed work. Route 690 traffic will use a 5.8-mile detour using state routes including: Route 2004 (Reservoir Road) and Route 2005 (Aberdeen Road/Market Street). The detour is expected to last approximately six (6) months during construction.
