    The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to a virtual plans display regarding the Route 2010, Section 350 Main Street Bridge Replacement Project over Sugar Notch Run. The purpose of the project is to provide a sustainable crossing over Sugar Notch Run by replacing the existing bridge with a new bridge that addresses the structural deficiencies, and provides continued access to residents, businesses and emergency services.

    The project consists of replacing the existing single span composite adjacent concrete box beam bridge carrying traffic over Sugar Notch Run with a single span plank beam bridge on reinforced concrete abutments. Additional proposed work includes approach pavement replacement and guide rail upgrades. The proposed approach roadway width will consist of 2 - 12’-0” travel lanes and 8’-0” shoulders.

    Additional Project Information

    Traffic control during construction will consist of phased construction utilizing temporary traffic signals.
