The Country Club Bridge Replacement Project is located in North Sewickley and Franklin Townships, Beaver County. The project consists of a full replacement of the existing 3-Span steel multi-girder structure with a 2-Span steel plate girder structure using Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) Techniques.
In addition to replacing the existing structure, the project will include roadway reconstruction at the intersection of Route 65 Mercer Road with Route 1006 Mercer Road and the intersection of Route 65 Mercer Road with Country Club Drive. The scope of work includes other miscellaneous activities such as new pavement markings, guide rail updates, and drainage improvements.
The project is tentatively slated to be constructed under a 4-week roadway closure with a full detour during the 2026 Construction Season.
Project Update
Utility relocation work continues for the Country Club Bridge Replacement Project on Route 65 in North Sewickley and Franklin townships, Beaver County. Swank Construction Co. has also begun general site preparation activities, including clearing and other preliminary work, in advance of bridge replacement operations scheduled for later this summer.
No traffic restrictions are currently anticipated as this work progresses. Motorists should remain alert for construction personnel and equipment operating in the project area.
Additional project updates and construction details will be provided as the anticipated start of bridge replacement approaches.
