    The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is pleased to announce the upcoming reconstruction of the Castor and Wyoming Avenue intersection in Philadelphia, which will be transformed into an improved roundabout. This project is designed to enhance safety and accessibility by retrofitting the intersection's geometry to effectively manage traffic speeds and upgrading pedestrian infrastructure to meet ADA compliance standards. Furthermore, the project includes the installation of dedicated bicycle ramps and a raised, signalized crosswalk at the Temple OB/GYN facility to better accommodate both pedestrians and cyclists. Construction will be executed in phases to ensure the continued flow of traffic throughout the duration of the project.
