    Swedesford Road over Chester Valley Trail Bridge Repairs

    The proposed scope of work for the Swedesford Road bridge over Chester Valley Trail includes a Latex Modified Concrete (LMC) overlay, resealing of the deck joints, and various substructure repairs. Roadway work will include milling and overlay. There will not be any modifications to the existing guiderail or the guiderail connections to the bridge barrier.

    Construction will require a traffic detour or will be staged with one open lane. The anticipated detour is 1.5 miles, and the route utilizes Routes 401, 30, and 29. It is not anticipated that the Chester Valley Trail will need to be closed. No temporary construction easements will be required.
