    This project involves the replacement of the Route 32 (West Bridge Street) Bridge over a tributary to the Delaware River in Falls Township and Morrisville Borough, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The existing structure was constructed in 1934 and is approximately 10 feet long. The bridge is currently posted for 34 tons. The proposed scope of work includes replacement of the existing structure with a reinforced concrete box culvert. The proposed span length will be similar to the existing. The existing horizontal alignment and vertical profile will be maintained. Minimal approach work is anticipated. Other construction activities will include the reconstruction of the sidewalk on the north side of the bridge, installation of guiderails, and installation of scour protection.

    PA 3-Rail Bridge Barrier will be placed on the south side of the proposed bridge. Guiderail will also be required on the south side of the proposed bridge.

    The bridge replacement will require a one-way detour of northbound West Bridge Street during construction. Southbound West Bridge Street will remain open during construction.

    Permanent right-of-way acquisitions are required. Temporary Construction Easements are required for contractor access during construction.
