The project will utilize a detour for the replacement of an existing structure that carries Route 747 over Sugar Run Tributary with an elliptical pipe. The scope of work will also include minor approach paving and guide rail updates.
Detour Information
Detour anticipated in Spring 2027 for 4-5 weeks. The route includes Ridgley Street (Route 522), Elliot Street (Route 994), Valley Street (Route 2016) in Orbsonia; Chester Furnace Road (Route 2016) in Cromwell Township; and East/West Shirley Street (Route 2025), and South Division Street/Hill Valley Road (Route 747) in Mount Union.
