The project is located over Little Conestoga Creek in East Hempfield and Manheim Townships, Lancaster County, approximately 1 mile southeast of East Petersburg.

The purpose of the project is to perform bridge maintenance activities to extend the service life of the structure and continue to provide a safe crossing for the traveling public.

The project maintenance activities include, but are not limited to: steel beam repainting, shoulder repairs, and concrete patching.

To successfully perform the maintenance activities, short-term traffic control is expected. There will be no reduction in number of lanes.

The project is currently in design and construction is anticipated to take place during the 2027 construction season.
