Background Project Information

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is developing plans for the Route 53 Pavement Preservation Project in Croyle Township, Ehrenfeld Borough, Summerhill Borough, Summerhill Township, Wilmore Borough, Portage Township, and Portage Borough, Cambria County. The project includes resurfacing of Route 53 in Cambria County from Route 3024 (Railroad Street) to Route 164 and on Route 164 from Route 53 to Route 2012 (Dulancey Avenue) in Croyle, Portage, and Summerhill townships and Portage, Summerhill, and Wilmore boroughs in Cambria County.
