    Location: New Hope Church, 3404 Cumberland Highway, Meyersdale, PA 15552. 

    Public Comment Period

    The public comment period, where the community is encouraged to respond with questions and concerns will be from February 10, 2026 through  March 10, 2026.

    The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is currently planning for a project that includes the replacement of three bridges in Somerset County. ECMS 88162 - The first project includes the Hillegas Run Bridge Replacement on Route 2017 (Brush Creek Road) over Tributary of Hillegas Run near the intersection of T-469 (Miller Road) in Allegheny Township. ECMS 74481 - The second is the Poorbaugh Run Bridge Replacement on Route 2020 (Poorbaugh Road) over Poorbaugh Run near the intersection of Glen Savage Road in Northampton Township. ECMS 91448 - The third is the Mance Tributary to Wills Creek Bridge on Route 2017 (Brush Creek Road) over Tributary of Wills Creek near the intersection of T-660 (Witts Road) in Larimer Township. The work is to be completed using a detour.

    The anticipated detours for each segment in the project are:

    For the Hillegas Run Bridge, Route 2017 (Brush Creek Road), Route 1015 (Dividing Ridge Road), Route 2019 (Glen Savage Road), Route 2020 (Poorbaugh Road/Glencoe Road), and Route 2022 (Leister Road)

    For Poorbaugh Run Bridge, Route 2017 (Brush Creek Road), Route 1015 (Dividing Ridge Road), Route 2019 (Glen Savage Road), Route 2020 (Poorbaugh Road/Glencoe Road), and Route 2022 (Leister Road)

    For Mance Trib to Wills Creek, Route 2017 (Brush Creek Road), Route 160, and Route 2020 (Glencoe Road)
