    Jefferson Street Bridge over Redstone Creek is located in the City of Uniontown, Fayette County. The roadway and bridge are owned and maintained by the City. The project consists of the replacement of the existing deck and concrete beams with steel beams and new deck. Minor work below the bridge and approach roadway work is also anticipated. The existing roadway alignment and typical section will be matched. A minor increase in the roadway profile grade on the near approach is proposed. Both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be maintained via detour. The project is tentatively scheduled for a March 23, 2028 letting. Construction of the project is anticipated in the summer of 2028 or 2029.
