The proposed work is located in Ridley Township and Glenolden Borough, Delaware County. The MacDade Boulevard Corridor Safety Improvement project includes pedestrian and traffic signal improvements at select intersections along the MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) Corridor from Fairview Road to Knowles Avenue.
The project involves several safety improvements that will occur at the following intersections:
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Fairview Road (SR 2035)
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Milmont Avenue
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Morton Avenue (SR 2025) & Haverford Road
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Monta Vista Avenue – Ridley Shopping Center Drive
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Private Driveway (Chick-Fil-A) - Private Driveway (Lidl)
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Edgewood Avenue
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Swarthmore Avenue
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Kedron Avenue (SR 0420)
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Amosland Road
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Holmes Road (SR 2021)
- MacDade Boulevard (SR 2006) & Private Driveway (MacDade Mall) - Private Driveway (McDonald’s)

The proposed work includes:
- Modernize pedestrian facilities and signals along corridor
- Installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons at select locations
- Installation of School Flashers at Glenolden Elementary School
- Installation of dynamic speed limit signs
- Signing and pavement marking upgrades
The project is currently in the preliminary design phase and construction is estimated to begin in late 2029.
