Public Outreach

Open House

A public open house featuring a public plans display will take place:

Date:  September 24, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Location: Allegheny College, Henderson Campus Center (Room 301/302), 520 North Main Street, Meadville, PA 16335

At the open house meeting, attendees will have an opportunity to view information and provide feedback about the project, including current traffic and road conditions and the proposed roundabout. Project team members will be available to answer questions and provide information throughout the open house.

Virtual Plans Display

​The virtual plans display will be available online from September 24, 2026 through October 8, 2026

Public Comment Period

The public comment period, where the community is encouraged to respond with questions and concerns will be through October 8, 2026

This is a proposed project to improve the intersection of Route 886, Allegheny Street, and Limber Road in the City of Meadville, Crawford County.

The proposal includes the construction of a single-lane roundabout at the intersection of Route 886 (Route 86/North Main Street), Allegheny Street, and Limber Road to provide improved safety for all users through the corridor, which runs through Allegheny College.
