This project is for improvements to the intersection of State Route 1053 (Georges Station Road) and State Route 1026 (Donohoe Road) in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.
The project is needed to provide a transportation solution that addresses deficiencies of the existing intersection and provides additional capacity to safely meet current and future traffic demands for all users.
Construction of the project is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2028 and end in the fall of 2029.
