    PennDOT, the City of Philadelphia, and SEPTA are designing a project for roadway improvements along Roosevelt Boulevard from Pratt Street to Old Lincoln Highway in Philadelphia and Bucks counties. 

    The Department is completing preliminary engineering, final design, and project construction​. Preliminary engineering began in mid-2024. 

    This project will include bicycle, pedestrian, and transit improvements, intersection and roadway modifications, bridge rehabilitations, resurfacing, pavement marking, traffic control, and traffic signal modifications along Roosevelt Boulevard. 

    Past Public Outreach

    A virtual public meeting for the Roosevelt Boulevard - TOMORROW - Section RB1 (Broad Street to Pratt Street) and Section RB2 (Pratt Street to Old Lincoln Highway) projects was held on October 8, 2026. 

    Open House Plans Displays for the Roosevelt Boulevard - TOMORROW - Section RB1 (Broad Street to Pratt Street) and Section RB2 (Pratt Street to Old Lincoln Highway) projects were held on October 13-14, 2026.

    The public comment period, where the community is encouraged to respond with questions and concerns, will be open through Wednesday, October 28.
