The project consists of rehabilitating the existing concrete arch culvert. Repairs to the existing culvert include but are not limited to concrete repairs, removal and reconstruction of the ends of the arch, headwalls, wingwalls and aprons, and installation of concrete cutoff walls. Roadway improvements include replacement of guide rail. Utility conflicts are not anticipated for this project. Right-of-way acquisitions are anticipated at all four corners of the bridge. Temporary right-of-way easements are anticipated at the four corners of the bridge.

No significant historical or cultural resources are present within the project site. Wetlands are present within the project limits but will be affected to the minimum extent possible. Other environmentally sensitive resources will not be affected by the project.

The roadway will remain open during construction with daytime traffic control provided as needed by the contractor. Construction is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2027.

The purpose of the public plans display is to introduce the project and receive public input regarding the proposed improvements.
