King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that utility construction is planned on Route 73 (Church Road) under a $10.8 million project to improve traffic flow and safety on Route 73 (Church Road) at Greenwood Avenue and Rices Mill Road intersections in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.
Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Saturday, February 28, and Sunday, March 1, a 24-hour closure is scheduled on Route 73 (Church Road) between Greenwood Avenue and Route 73 (Washington Lane). During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Greenwood Avenue, Township Line Road, and Route 73 (Washington Lane).
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
