View Maps and Planning Data for PennDOT Projects
Another way to explore PennDOT's projects is through the GIS maps below. These maps are maintained by our Bureau of Planning, and house reporting data about aviation, rail, bridge, and transit projects across the Commonwealth. On each of these maps, you can click a dot that represents an individual project and access specific data for each project including construction costs, location on Google Street View, and PennDOT's Project ID number.
The construction projects map linked above displays active construction projects that are underway beginning this year, or that are being bid this year
The TIP/TYP map linked above shows highway, bridge, transit and aviation projects identified on PennDOT's 2025-28 Transportation Improvement Program as well as our Twelve Year Plan.
If you're looking for even more granular data, PennDOT's OneMap system offers an additional level of detail and maps for things like environmental screening, Highway Occupancy Permits, rail grade crossings, transportation systems management operations, and more.
