Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing overnight single-lane restrictions are anticipated in both directions on Interstate 70 next week between Exit 18 (North Junction - Pittsburgh) and Exit 20 (Beau Street) in Washington County.
Single-lane restrictions are anticipated to occur as follows:
· Monday, October 7 from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM in the westbound direction.
· Tuesday, October 8 from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM in the eastbound direction.
· Wednesday, October 9 from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM in the eastbound direction.
· Thursday, October 10 from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM in the eastbound direction.
Department Force Maintenance crews will be performing traffic control utilizing a mobile operation to allow for pavement testing.
Motorists are asked to remain alert, follow signage, and use caution while driving through the work zone. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
