The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing drivers of the suspension of lane restrictions and delays on U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Breezewood, Bedford County, for the Memorial Day holiday.

Contractors have been completing a concrete patching project in the eastbound lane of U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Post House Road and the exit ramp for Interstate 76 (I-76) PA Turnpike. Lane restrictions will be lifted beginning in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 20 through Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day), 2026.

From Monday, May 18 through Wednesday, May 20, and from 12:00 AM Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29, 2026, drivers can expect short delays of three (3) to five (5) minutes from lane restrictions under standard flagging operations.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage.
