Route 3021 (Walker Road) in Black Township, Somerset County, Closed, Detour Implemented

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has implemented a bridge closure and detour effective immediately for Route 3021 (Walker Road) between T-437 (Wilson Creek Road) and Route 3019 (Humbert School Road) in Black Township, Somerset County, after the discovery of a large hole in the deck of the bridge. The issue was discovered through PennDOT’s Bridge Inspection Program.

This restriction has been implemented in the interest of safety and will be effective immediately. At this time, it is estimated that the bridge will be closed for approximately two to three (2 to 3) weeks, however, the work is weather dependent and could be longer.

Traffic will be detoured using Route 653 (Garrett Road) and Route 3019 (Humbert School Road) in Somerset County.
