The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is currently developing plans for the Route 747 (Hill Valley Road) Over Sugar Run Tributary Bridge Replacement in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County.
The project will utilize a detour for the replacement of an existing structure that carries Route 747 over Sugar Run Tributary with an elliptical pipe. The scope of work will also include minor approach paving and guide rail updates.
Public Meeting Plans Display from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Cromwell Township Municipal Building, 10999 Valley Street, Shirleysburg, PA 17260.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. Representatives of PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend this meeting.
The plans display location is ADA accessible and any person requiring special assistance is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation prior to the meeting.
