PennDOT Plans Shoulder Restrictions to Obtain Core Samples on Southbound Route 15 in Adams County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that temporary shoulder restrictions are planned for Friday, April 24, at four locations on southbound Route 15 between Route 94 in Huntington Township and Route 234 in Tyrone Township, Adams County.

These temporary shoulder closures will allow the contractor to verify material depths for an upcoming resurfacing project.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed during daylight hours on Friday, April 24. There will be shoulder restrictions on southbound Route 15 during work hours.

Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.

An updated press release will be issued when repair and resurfacing work is scheduled.
