PennDOT to Pave Route 462 (Columbia Ave) in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County

Expect delays, lane restrictions during work hours

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Lancaster County will pave a section of Route 462 (Columbia Avenue) between Oswego Drive and Prospect Road in West Hempfield Township.

Over the next two weeks, weather permitting, this work will be performed from approximately 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (May 11-14 and May 18-21). There will be lane restrictions under flagging during work hours.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
