Expect lane restrictions, delays during work hours
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a nighttime milling and paving operation on westbound Route 283 near Mt. Joy Borough in Lancaster County, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, and Thursday, May 21. The project limits extend from Spooky Nook Road in East Hempfield Township to Esbenshade Road in Rapho Township.
Weather permitting, night work will be conducted from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. There will be lane restrictions during work hours. There may be delays.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
