Update: Repairs Complete, Detour Lifted on Route 216 (Blooming Grove Road) Bridge over Lake Marburg in York County

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today reopened the Route 216 (Blooming Grove Road) bridge spanning Lake Marburg in Penn and West Manheim townships, York County. The bridge had been closed for repairs since May 4.

All bridge repairs under this contract are complete.

Work under this contract consists of replacing the bridge deck joints, repairing all deck deterioration, providing a new deck wearing surface, and other miscellaneous construction.

J.D. Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, is the contractor on this $507,763 bridge preservation project.
