    Resurfacing Project to Begin on Route 3011 in Franklin Township, Adams County

    Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today a resurfacing project is scheduled to begin on Route 3011 in Franklin Township, Adams County. The limits of this project extend from just south of Old Route 30 to Winding Road near Arendtsville Borough.

    The northern section of Route 3011 project limits (Winding Road to Route 30) is designated Cashtown Road, while the section from Route 30 to Old Route 30 is designated High Street, and from Old Route 30 to the southern limits of the project is Orrtanna Road.

    Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, March 30. There will be lane restrictions under daylight flagging. This may cause delays. Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.

    This project consists of resurfacing, base replacement, milling, minor structure repairs, curbing modifications, guiderail updates, signing and pavement marking updates, and other miscellaneous construction.

    Pennsy Supply, Inc., of Harrisburg is the contractor on this $1,884,718 project. All work is expected to be completed by July 24, 2026.
