Inspections Scheduled Next Week for I-81 Bridges over Conococheague Creek in Greene Township, Franklin County

Expect right lane restrictions and traffic delays during working hours.

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that bridge inspections are scheduled next week for the Interstate 81 structures over Conococheague Creek in Greene Township, Franklin County.

Weather permitting, inspectors plan to conduct their work using a snooper crane to inspect the bridges from the right lane and shoulder:

  • I-81 northbound on Monday, July 13, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
  • I-81 southbound on Tuesday, July 14, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

There will be lane and shoulder restrictions each day during working hours. Expect traffic delays.

Drivers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
