PennDOT Plans Nighttime Concrete Pavement Patching on NB I-81 in Greene Township, Franklin County

Expect single-lane restrictions and traffic delays during work hours.

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a nighttime concrete pavement patching operation will start Sunday, August 9, on northbound Interstate 81 near Chambersburg in Franklin County. The project limits extend from mile marker 18 to Exit 20 for Route 997 (Scotland) in Greene Township.

Weather permitting, night work will be conducted for approximately six nights in the northbound lanes Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. There will be lane restrictions during work hours. Expect traffic delays.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
