Concrete Patching, Spall Repairs Scheduled on Route 283 in Lancaster County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that concrete patching and spall repairs are scheduled to begin on Route 283 in Lancaster County. The work limits are from Esbenshade Road in Rapho Township to State Road (Route 772) in East Hempfield Township.

Weather permitting, this work is scheduled for the 7:00 PM Thursday, March 26, to 6:00 AM Friday, March 27, then from 7:00 PM Friday, March 27, through 6:00 AM Monday, March 30. 

This work will require single lane restrictions in both directions of Route 283, but only in one direction at a time.

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
