    Bridge Inspections Scheduled for Route 897 and Orchard Road over Route 222 in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County

    Expect delays; Lane restrictions on northbound and southbound Route 222

    Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that bridge inspections are scheduled for Route 897 (Dry Tavern Road) and Orchard Road over Route 222 near Adamstown Borough in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County.

    Weather permitting, this work will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 14. There will be a left lane restriction on Route 222 northbound and southbound under the bridges. Delays are expected.

    Inspectors plan to inspect the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.

    Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
