Inspection Next Week on the McKinley Street Bridge Spanning I-81 Near Chambersburg in Franklin County

There will be right lane restrictions on NB and SB I-81

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the McKinley Street bridge spanning Interstate 81 near Chambersburg in Guilford Township, Franklin County, is scheduled to be inspected next week. The bridge is located between Exit 14 (Wayne Avenue/Route 316) and Exit 16 (Route 30/Lincoln Way). There will be lane restrictions on I-81

Weather permitting, the inspection will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 11, and Thursday, February 12. There will be alternating right and left lane closures on northbound and southbound I-81.

Travelers should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
