Bridge Cleaning Next Week on I-81 and I-78 in East Hanover, Union, Swatara and Bethel Townships, Lebanon County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PennDOT maintenance crews in Lebanon County are scheduled to clean bridges next week on Interstate 81 and Interstate 78 in East Hanover, Union, Swatara and Bethel townships.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, on interstate bridges within Lebanon County lines.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.

Drivers can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras.
