Expect delays; Lane restrictions on northbound and southbound I-81
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that an inspection is scheduled for the Army Heritage Drive bridge over Interstate 81 east of Carlisle Borough in Middlesex Township, Cumberland County.
Weather permitting, this work will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22. There will be a right lane restriction on I-81 northbound and southbound under the bridge. Delays are expected.
Inspectors plan to inspect the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
