Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the bridge on Tourist Park Road (Route 4006) in Halifax Township, Dauphin County, is open to traffic. The bridge, located at the intersection with Middle Road (between Route 147 and Route 225), was closed early this year due to deterioration found during an inspection.
The Dauphin County PennDOT Maintenance Organization replaced the structure. A detour associated with the work has been lifted.
