Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge inspection is scheduled next week on the Route 74 (Carlisle Road) bridge spanning Conewago Creek between Warrington Township and Dover Township In York County.
Weather permitting, there will be daytime lane restrictions on Route 74 (Carlisle Road) from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday October 3, 2025. Traffic will be restricted in one direction at a time. Work will begin in the westbound direction, (Dover Township to Warrington Township) and then move to the eastbound (Warrington Township to Dover Township) direction. The right lane and shoulder will be closed during the inspection.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
