Traffic will be detoured
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in York County is scheduled to perform patching on the southbound Interstate 83 ramp to eastbound Route 30 at Exit 21 in York County.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 10.
The ramp will be closed during work hours. A detour will be in place. Travelers should take Exit 22 to North George Street, then turn right to head south to Route 30.
There will be a right lane restriction on southbound I-83 approaching the exit.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
