Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Dauphin County is scheduled to begin work tomorrow on the structure on Powells Valley Road (Route 4013) in Wayne Township. The structure, which is located at the east side of the intersection with Price Road, has been closed to traffic since May.
Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday, August 7. Work includes removing the existing structure, installing a new concrete pipe and end walls, stream restoration and resurfacing the roadway over the new structure.
Work is anticipated to take five-to-six weeks to complete.
A detour remains in place using Route 225, Rutter Road (Route 4004) and Enders Road (Route 4001).
