Right lane and shoulder restriction will be in place during nighttime hours
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance to a digital message board is scheduled on southbound Interstate 81 at Exit 90 (Route 72/Lebanon) in Union Township, Lebanon County.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 PM Wednesday, August 13, to 6:00 AM Thursday, August 14. In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the work will be performed during the same hours the following night (Thursday night to Friday morning, August 14-15).
A right lane and shoulder restriction will be in place during work hours.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
This work is part of a project to maintain and/or repair Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) equipment at locations in the PennDOT District 8 southcentral Pennsylvania region, as well as the PennDOT District 4 northeast region and the PennDOT District 5 eastern region.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc., of Exeter, PA, is the contractor on this $5,583,518 project. All work on this contract is expected to be completed by July 2, 2027.
