Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Plank Road (Route 2074) bridge spanning northbound Interstate 83 just north of Exit 4 (Route 851) in Shrewsbury Township, York County, is scheduled to be inspected this Thursday. A lane restriction will be in place on northbound I-83.
Weather permitting, the Plank Road bridge over northbound I-83 will be inspected from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 17. The right lane of northbound I-83 will be closed during work hours. The left lane will remain open.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
