Deck Patching Saturday on SB I-83 Ramp to SB I-283 at Exit 46A in Dauphin County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today a PennDOT maintenance crew in Dauphin County is scheduled to perform deck patching next Saturday (Nov. 1) on the southbound Interstate 83 ramp to southbound Interstate 283 at Exit 46A (I-283/I-76/Harrisburg Intl Airport) in Dauphin County. The ramp will be closed, and traffic detoured.

Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-83 to southbound I-283 will be closed for deck patching from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday, November 1. A detour will be in place.

Southbound I-83 traffic should take Exit 47 (Route 322 East/Hershey/Eisenhower Boulevard), then keep left to Eisenhower Boulevard, proceed south to Route 441 (Lindle Road), turn left onto Lindle Road, then right onto the ramp to southbound I-283.

There may be delays. Travelers should be alert and watch for changing traffic patterns.
