Concrete Patching, Spall Repairs Scheduled on Route 283 in Lancaster County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that concrete patching and spall repairs on Route 283 in Lancaster County is scheduled for next week. The work limits are from Esbenshade Road in Rapho Township to State Road (Route 772) in East Hempfield Township.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the nights of Wednesday, November 19, and Thursday, November 20. This work is expected to continue during the same hours the nights of Sunday, November 23 through Tuesday, November 25, weather permitting.

Work will begin in the eastbound direction then switch to the westbound direction. One lane of traffic will be maintained in the direction work is being performed in. 

New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
