Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today the California Road (Route 1019) bridge spanning an unnamed tributary to the Conestoga River just north of Route 23 (New Holland Pike) in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, is open to traffic. The bridge was closed last year due to damage discovered during a bridge inspection. It has been replaced.
A detour associated with the replacement project has been lifted.
Doli Construction Corporation of Chalfont, PA, is the contractor on this $562,093 project.
