Inspection Next Week on Route 222 Bridges over Col. Howard Boulevard in Lancaster County

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the northbound and southbound Route 222 bridges spanning Col. Howard Boulevard in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, are scheduled to be inspected next week. There will be lane restrictions in both directions of Colonel Howard Boulevard between the Route 222 on- and off-ramps.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Thursday, November 13, and Friday, November 14.

On Thursday, there will be a right lane restriction on eastbound Col. Howard Blvd. from 9:00 AM to noon, and on westbound Col. Howard Blvd. from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

On Friday, there will be a left lane restriction on eastbound Col. Howard Blvd. from 9:00 AM to noon, and on westbound Col. Howard Blvd from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
