Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is scheduled this Thursday on the Lickdale Road (Route 1020) bridge over Interstate 78 in Swatara Township, Lebanon County. The bridge spans the interstate between Mile Marker 3.9 and Mile Marker 3.7, for about 3 miles east of Interstate 81.
Weather permitting, the inspection will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 9. There will be right lane restrictions on eastbound and westbound I-78 during work hours.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
