Black Rock Road Bridge in York County is Open to Traffic

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Black Rock Road (Route 3070) bridge spanning the West Branch Codorus Creek between Frogtown Road and Lakeview Terrace in West Manheim Township, York County, is open to traffic.

The bridge was closed in June for replacement. A detour in place during the closure has been lifted.

The project consists of replacing the existing structure with a precast box culvert. Work also includes roadway, guiderail updates, signing and pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction.

Lobar Site Development, Inc., of Dillsburg, PA, is the contractor on this $1,089,197 project.
