King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction will take place on several state highways next week in Chester and Montgomery counties, under projects to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.
The work schedules and locations are:
Chester County
- Tuesday, February 21, through Friday, February 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Brandywine Drive between Telegraph Road and Chestnut Hollow Lane in Newlin and West Bradford Township;
- Tuesday, February 21, through Friday, February 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Valley Creek Road) between Yellow Springs Road and Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) in Tredyffrin Township; and
- Monday, February 20, and Tuesday, February 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Reeds Road between Delaney Drive and Hopewell Road in East Brandywine Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, February 20, through Friday, February 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Beidler Road between Saratoga Road and Caley Road in Upper Merion Township;
- Monday, February 20, through Friday, February 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Trooper Road between Clark Hill Drive and Fieldcrest Avenue in Lower Providence Township; and
- Monday, February 20, through Friday, February 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 309 (Fort Washington Expressway) between the Highland Avenue and the Susquehanna Road interchanges in Upper Dublin Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
